²⁷ For those who live in Jerusalem, and their ^(A)rulers, ^(B)recognizing neither Him nor the ^[a]utterances of ^(C)the prophets which are ^(D)read every Sabbath, fulfilled them by condemning Him. ²⁸ And though they found no ground for death, they ^(E)asked Pilate that He be ^[b]executed. ²⁹ And when they had ^(F)finished all that was written concerning Him, ^(G)they took Him down from ^(H)the tree and ^(I)laid Him in a tomb.
